eating disorders are serious. assuming someone has one (especially without knowing them) is pretty mean. i’m not an expert, but i do have an honours degree in psychology. plus, i’m her husband. so i think that grants me grounds to conclude that she doesn’t have an eating disorder. the girl eats more than i do and has never needed to manage her weight.
Assuming someone has an eating disorder when you have never met that person in your life is pretty rude and insulting.
Knowing Janice personally, being a close friend of hers and a fellow model at Ford (Europe) I know she doesn’t have an eating disorder. We’ve had plenty of lunches and dinners together and we both eat normal, healthy (minus the excessive amount of Mars Bars ), balanced diets. We both can put food away! Some people just have high metabolisms that keep them thin. While I agree the modeling industry can be known for causing girls to do crazy diets and develop eating disorders, it is also just as often that models are naturally thin and yet still healthy, as is the case with Janice who has always been able to eat whatever she wants and not worry about watching her weight.
I’m curious as to what indicates the excessive weight loss associated with anorexia, since I see toned muscles on her arms, as that is the only part of her exposed in the shapeless form of the dress she’s wearing. Personally, since I know she is naturally thin and indeed healthy, I think she looks amazing!
I’ve played volleyball against Janice since grade 8….so many years ago. She has been the same size since then, so her weight does not fluctuate at all. She just has a naturally small frame. Some people are created by God to be models….she is definitely one of them so rude comments should be left at the door! Janice is stunning.
